OiiOii.ai is an AI animation agent team: a multi-agent pipeline of specialized AI agents (Art Director, Scriptwriter, Scene Designer, IP Designer, Character Designer, Storyboard Artist, and Sound Director) that turns an idea into a finished, original animated video — covering script, character and IP design, scene design, storyboarding, video/image generation, and sound. Its edge over single-shot generators is the coordinated multi-agent workflow and end-to-end production. WRITING GUIDANCE: where relevant, show the specific agents and the idea→script→character→storyboard→video pipeline rather than speaking generically. Keep everything brand-safe — never adult, violent, or copyrighted-style/IP-imitation content — and frame AI as augmenting human creators (human-in-the-loop), never as replacing filmmakers or as a 'fully autonomous studio'. DO NOT fabricate statistics, customer counts, ROI figures, or case-study results: OiiOii is an emerging platform with no public client metrics; use only illustrative examples or clearly-attributed third-party industry data, and never present others' results as OiiOii's.

How OiiOii Is Built: The Product Culture Behind the AI Animation Tool

The product culture behind OiiOii's AI animation tool: companywide weekly bug hunts, a public Listening Log, and product thinking in the AI era.

How OiiOii is built: the product culture behind the AI animation tool

Plenty of companies say they listen to users. Fewer put the whole company on support duty every week. At OiiOii, that's not a slogan on a wall, it's how the AI animation tool actually gets made, and it's worth explaining, because it's the reason the product feels the way it does.

It started with Toy Story

OiiOii's founder, Naonao, fell in love with animation as a kid watching Toy Story. The dream of making animation stayed with him, but the barriers to professional production kept it out of reach. Rather than give up on it, he set out to dismantle those barriers, and the rapid advance of AI made this the right moment. OiiOii is the container he built so anyone with a story to tell can finally tell it.

That origin sets the standard. The team isn't building an AI tool in the abstract. Most of them are lifelong anime and ACG fans, alumni of ByteDance, Bilibili, Tencent, Kuaishou, miHoYo, and Moonshot AI, who know the industry's pain points from the inside.

Companywide bug hunts, every Thursday

Every Thursday afternoon, the entire company tests new features. Not just product and engineering, everyone, regardless of technical background. Before a feature ships, people from across the company try to break it.

The point is the diversity of perspective. A designer, a support lead, and an engineer each hit different walls, and the walls a specialist would never think to test are exactly the ones real users find first. It generates bug reports written from a user's point of view, and it means the whole team understands the product they support.

Admit limits, welcome criticism, actually listen

Since the earliest beta, OiiOii has published a regular Listening Log, a public record of which user-reported issues have been fixed. The CEO is one of the most active participants in user and creator groups, answering questions directly and routing issues to engineering, with no aura of executive distance.

The team learned this the hard way. When the beta brought a surge of users and more than a hundred active community groups, OiiOii tried an external customer-service vendor. It didn't work: e-commerce support agents aren't equipped for the variability of AI use cases, the range of model behaviors, or the pace of iteration. So the company built an in-house technical support team instead, one that runs weekly training, sits in on product and engineering syncs, collects feedback daily, and runs in-depth user interviews. Community response and resolution rates now run above 90 percent.

Why product thinking wins in the AI era

A powerful model doesn't automatically become something people can use; closing that gap takes product intelligence. From the agent workflow that competitors overlooked, to shot-by-shot scene replication, to smart canvas mode, every feature traces back to a real user need rather than a copy of what already existed.

That's the throughline behind the AI animation tool: build from the story, test as a whole company, listen without ego, and let product thinking bridge the distance between a capable model and a usable product. To see what that produces, it's all at oiioii.ai.
